Viviene is a new, yet prominent leader of the Ladies of the Lake, appearing to be an attractive woman in her mid-20s. She was born during the reign of Aurelius Ambrosius, and was appointed leader of the Ladies of the Lake despite her young age. She is known to have a dislike of Merlin the Magician, and preaches her own agenda.
She has quit the island of Britain for her own quest, leaving its care in the hands of Nineve in her stead.
